Maharshtra cuisine
Maharashtrian cuisine includes mild and spicy dishes. Wheat, rice, jowar, bajri, vegetables, lentils and fruit are dietary staples. Peanuts and cashews are often served with vegetables. Meat was traditionally used sparsely or only by the well off until recently, because of economic conditions and culture.
Maharashtra, more specifically the Konkan region, is the place my family originally comes from.Today I am posting some recipes from Maharashtra.
With it we have the famous kokum drink which is famous to all over the kokan . Kokum juice, prepared from Kokum fruit, can be consumed in any season as it is good for digestion.
Then moving towards to kolhapur…
In kolhapur we have tambda rassa and pandhara rassa are famous preparations . with that the all nonveg prepations like kolhapuri mutton and kolhapuri chicken rassa consiat of red masala or chillies and other spices combined overall all dishes are spicy and delicious.
In beverage we have so many refreshing drink but one of which I explore is all lassi preparations. It base is basically lassi but in that they add icecreame or some dry fruits and other thing to make it unique.

Then moving towards little up to world of mango is ratnagiri….
I thing i dont talk much about it as everybuddy know the sweetness of Ratnagiri..
